MILITARY SPECIFICATION
MILLING MACHINES, BED TYPE, HORIZONTAL SPINDLE,
AUTOMATIC CYCLE, 24, 26 AND 30 INCH MINIMUM TABLE WIDTH,
PLAIN AND DUPLEX MACHINES
This specification is mandatory for use by all Departments and Agencies
of the Department of Defense.
1.
SCOPE
1.1 Scope. This specification covers automatic cycling, bed type, horizon-
tal machines, with minimum table widths of 24, 26, and 30 inches and table
lengths from 72 to 192 inches, plain and duplex spindles, with equipment and
accessories as described herein.
1.2 Classification. Milling machines covered by this specification shall
be of the types, classes, and sizes as specified (see 6.2).
